I haven't bu tif you are worried, ask your mw for reassurance. Afaik, thye are pretty well protected in there. hth!

you'll be fine
the womb and its attendant sinews and tendons is a formidable organ

don't worry

don't worry too much - i had a car collision at 16 weeks (some idiot went into the back of me pretty hard) and my seatbelt went very tight across my belly. Enough to be in pain over night afterwards

I took myself to a+e on advice of midwife - as there was no bleeding they debated whether to even bother giving me a scan. they did in the end and all was fine. they are very well protected in there

if you're very worried and are in pain that gets worse, or there is any bleeding, go to a+e.

i fell at 7=8 weeks, and it was fine... as everyone said, they are well protected

If its any help my DD (aged 2.5) regularly throws herself at or tries to sit on top of mine and I am fine. I would however go to hospi if I had cramps/bleeding or less movement (assuming you can feel anything at 18 weeks - I dont think I did).

o but my longest standing friend had a similar scare (daughters knee in tummy) babies are fairly well protected really it's normal to wor though. hat to your midwife about it I'm, sure she will say the same. If you have a rhesus neg blood group though it is important you contact her nothing scary it's just this may be considered a sensitizing event and they may wish to give you anti d just in case this baby is Rh pos this elps protect future pregnancies from complications of something called Rhesus disease

Hello, was just about to answer this on the Due in August thread but I'll answer here I am bumping mine all the time, unless it's an actual 'blow' I wouldn't worry - things like knocking belly in bedpost etc. it moe painful because it pushes into muscle (or fat ) The only time I'd worry about it is if I totally fell on it and I was slim (less padded). I constantly 'catch' my belly on door handles aswell (ooooh so fat! ). If it's still hurting for a while, your bleeding, it was bad enough to bruise or you are still really worried ring your MW or EPU xxx

i was thrown off my horse (a wasp stung him on his leg and he reared up, i did a full sumersault and landed on me arse) when i was 13 weeks. Am now 33+5 and it doesnt stop kicking. I am pretty certain that your lo is absolutely fine!

Cxx
