Baby born at 5lbs 3oz at 37 weeks

Hi!

So I've been in and out of hospital and due to preeclampsia I'm being induced or possibly having a Csection on Saturday, today when I went for a growth scan they said she is only 5lbs 3oz she's gonna be a tiny girl! (I know these scans aren't always accurate) but basically I was just wondering if you had babies around these weights, what size clothes fit your baby and which size nappies? We have a few tiny baby bits and I think 1 packet of size 0 nappies but I'm just thinking if we may possibly need more?

My son was born a long time ago at 5 £ 6 oz, 39 weeks. I can't remember the size of the nappy exactly, but I know it was the same size that came with the Tiny Tim doll!

It's always scary having a tiny baby, but my son fed like a little demon and has always been really healthy and strong.

looking4pup, I was 3Ib too. My mum was shown how to fold cloth nappies slightly differently to fit a smaller baby. The hospital lent her clothes for me. I don't think it was a massive deal for her really.

My DD was 5.13 when born and Tiny Baby or Early Baby fitted. We didn't realise she'd be so tiny and had to send my mum to the 24hr Tesco when she was born as everything we'd taken to the hospital was too big 😅😅

We needed tiny baby size for my first who was 5lb15 at 37plus 5. (Had to go out a buy it as only had newborn which was massive).
took tiny baby and newborn stuff for dc2 birth… he was 9lb 3 😂🙈 cant get it right 😅😅
