Clearblue digital on 2-3 at 5 weeks 4 days pregnant

Clue in the title. I don't know why I'm so reliant on these tests.

I have 4 miscarriages within 13 months of each other, I then went on to have my little girl who was a dream pregnancy and she's now 18 months. I found out I was pregnant again last Sunday with a clearblue digital that said 2-3 and that was 2 days after my missed period. I've took another one this morning a week later to expect the 3+ on there and it still says 2-3 and I've gone into instant meltdown with worry.

I have a scan on the 27th October from my high risk team and will start progesterone of everything is all fine with the pregnancy.

But has anyone had this issue with clearblue? In my second miscarriage I remember the weeks went down

Mine didn’t go down, they just stayed at 2-3. Although did have one even after I got a 3+. Recent ectopic was at 2-3 and had a scan around 6w. It’s very difficult, I feel your pain.

The hcg jump from 2-3 to 3+ is quite big, I got the 3+ quickly (just after 4.5 weeks) with my daughter but this pregnancy I didn't get it until 6 weeks. I'm now 19 weeks with a healthy baby 😊 maybe take another in a week or so, try not to stress xx

2-3 weeks is 150 hCG, but 3+ is 2750 hCG, which is quite the jump. So it might take a bit longer.

Youll find out at your scan!

Thank you ladies for the reassurance. It's more mental and in your head than anything isn't it. Thankfully my scan is in 5 days, but somehow it feels like a lifetime away. Whatever the outcome I have to keep reminding myself I have my daughter and she's the biggest blessing ever💞

Just checking you're aware that you need to add 2 weeks on for the clearblue tests? So 2-3 weeks means 4-5 weeks.
Were you tracking ovulation?
Even if you were I honestly wouldn't worry that it hasn't changed in a week. In a couple of days it might change to 3+, it might not though. Step away from the tests. There are enough things to cause anxiety when being pregnant, clearblue tests shouldn't be one of them.

As above, you need to add 2 weeks onto the clear blue digitals.

No to the ovulation tracking, surprise second pregnancy. So I'm just going off my LMP which was September 13th and I am very regular on my cycle. 28 days religiously

Hi, I kniw it's an old post but I'm on the exact sane boat now. Did you have a healthy pregnancy? ❤️

StrawberryPi · 26/09/2025 09:40

@Mash0917 me too. 5w2d according to LMP, 17-18DPO, and I’m getting 1-2weeks. Feeling quite desperate. Me symptoms are strong though (nausea, fatigue, and full, firm breasts).

Googling seems to show me 50/50 bad news and that I should ignore it and relax. It’s awful that there’s so real access to medical reassurance at this stage.

Have you done the blood works?

StrawberryPi · 26/09/2025 09:53

No….my GP isn’t interested. Have you? Did you find somewhere private to get it done?

That's odd. I did my blood works through my GP. Could you ask yours and mention you are a bit worried so you want to be reassured?
