How likely is it that the baby will turn? Does it get less likely the further along you are because the baby is getting bigger and so turning is harder? Also, the hospital said that we would discuss at 36 weeks and, if still breech, book me in for a section. What happens if the baby turns before the date of the section? Can you still have the section or do they advise you to give birth vaginally? Lots of questions!!

yes, I believe that is the case. have the hospital not offered you ECV to turn baby?
you can also have a vaginal birth with a breech baby- doesn't have to be a c-section.

I would imagine if baby turns then you'll be on for a vaginal delivery

I believe that you can sometimes help the baby turn by spending some time on all 4's this gives them slightly more room to move.

Many hospitals may offer you a C section but it is possible for many women to give birth vaginally if they do not turn it's just some midwives are out of practice doing it.
