Fizzy tango and frozen yoghurts set my DS off big time...

Just had a frozen yoghurt (I love them!) and am now being kicked in the ribs as punishment!!!

Not pg now but when I was, a bar of chocolate used to set him off!

I had a chicken jalfreizi (hot hot hot) the other night, followed by ice-cream (cold cold cold). She gave me a good kicking after that, and I'm sure I deserved it.

Fireworks

Carey87 · 06/03/2008 21:35

daddy singing!!!

PotPourri · 06/03/2008 21:35

Anything and everything. This baby rarely sleeps and jumps around - mega stretches all day and night. It's quite embarrassing actually, as my bump morphs - a bit like a scene in Alien...

Carey87 · 06/03/2008 21:37

my bump morphed earlier today when i was in a meeting, had to stand to introduce myself and it was all hanging to the right! really funny, except that all the other people were young graduates and it made them feel sick! ha ha!!!

when I was pg and in the bath (almost permanently ), knocking my ring against the side of the bath would make both my dcs jump a mile!

2happy · 06/03/2008 21:41

Not pg now (sorry for crashing a pg thread ) but the title made me remember when pg with ds2 we went to a wedding where they had a brass band in a fairly enclosed venue (an old mill in Yorkshire, very Brassed Off). For the reception bit they were playing the theme of Pirates of the Caribbean and I have never known internal boxing like it, which is pretty good going since I was overdue at the time and there can't have been much room in there

Youcannotbeserious · 06/03/2008 22:00

Y'know... I am such a cabbage (green around the ears!) - I didn't know babies moved so much... I got quite a fright when my bump started visibly moving.......

What a bl**dy lemon I am!

when I was pg my dd really kicked when I went to the rocky horror show. she now doesn't like loud music - wonder if there's a connection?!

mollymawk · 06/03/2008 22:06

I am expecting DC3, and he/she is like my previous 2 in that what makes him/her move is me not moving. Especially sitting down (like now...).

Kaz1967 · 06/03/2008 23:17

Mine hates farting!! He'll always give me a good kicking if I do one (sorry!!). Also I had a 4D scan and when I watch the DVD of him moving around my brain must let out happy hormones as the baby always starts to kick. x

alittlebitshy · 07/03/2008 12:54

I remember when I was pg with dd - i must have been about 30-2 weeks or something - we went to see an African version of some bible stories (my memory is sketchy - i remember there being a Noah and Mrs Noah but can't remember what the whole thing specifically was), and there were some fabulous drums etc. dd was leaping around like a mad thing that night. I'm going to see Boyzone ( i know, i know) when I'm 31 weeks this time and fully anticipating a good kicking lol.

charlotte121 · 07/03/2008 13:38

In my last pg I had exams right up untill 5 days before i actually had the baby. It was a total nightmare. everytime i tried to get close to the table to write ds would kick it. Luckily they gave me extra time to get the paper finished!

Carey87 · 07/03/2008 13:40

jammi you just made my mouth water!!!

hannahjb · 07/03/2008 13:54

ice cubes (can't get enough of them at the minute!) and my 4 year old DS talking through my tummy button asking when baby is coming out!!!!!

Kaz1967 · 07/03/2008 14:57

Oh and sex does it too

JackBlackRoady · 07/03/2008 15:39

Mine kicks all the time, i am 31 weeks and looking forward to when there is not as much room for her to bop around in. put 'baby moving' as a search in you tube and it comes up with some amazingly freaky vids of bellies being taken to the limit!

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 07/03/2008 16:09

Chocolate, cold water and the sound of Daddy talking!

milkmoustache · 07/03/2008 17:57

Watching noisy action movies in the cinema, and the 'bong!' before an announcement on the train.
