What's worse first trimester or giving birth?

Currently struggling in first trimester. Can't help but wonder whether ladies found their birthing experience to be more tolerable than first trimester 😫

I did. The birth was a doddle compared to the pregnancy.

I loved my first trimester and also loved giving birth! Loved second and third trimesters so much too, would go back and do it all again if I could.

Giving birth is a walk in the park compared to pregnancy. Each of my pregnancies/births have been different but I (as much as I am incredibly grateful and blessed to be able to carry a baby) hate being pregnant. I mean, there are moments it’s lovely and fun but overall it’s actually really fucking hard. I had HG in my first two pregnancies so was bed bound for the first 6 months, being sick maybe 50/60 times a day. Third pregnancy I had bad sickness but not as bad but also got big really quickly so have just been uncomfortable and huge for what feels like ages.

I am fortunate in that my labours happen very quickly. Obviously it’s painful but so is 9 months of suffering 😂the relief you get when the baby is finally out is amazing.

i mean, I’d still do it time and time again as I said, I feel very blessed to be able to have children, but pregnancy is really hard.

I didn't much like being pregnant, especially the first trimester.

I've given birth three times, none of the births were awful.

I wouldn't have had a fourth as my third pregnancy wasn't fun. I'd happily give birth again tomorrow, though.

In balance I'd say first trimester. I've had only two pregnancies. First trimester was fine with the first and I was pretty joyous by 12 weeks. Second was horrendous. Constant nausea for 4 months, lost half a stone, exhausted and mental pressure. First north was fast and furious and more painful than I ever imagined. Second was quite beautiful. Most of it was manageable in a hot bath.

So it's swings on roundabouts BUT the first trimester with my 2nd broke me. It went on fir so long. Medication didn't help. I felt I'll 24/7 for months. Ate nothing but white bread and plain pasta. Iron levels plummeted. My thyroid got out of balance. It was a sh@t show. If I'd had that first time I don't think I'd have had another.
