@BraveHeart91 Sorry you’ve had it so rough, are you still struggling with HG now or has it calmed down? I have been, dare I say it, lucky. I have been mostly sick in the mornings but there have been days I have felt really nauseous, nothing on what you’ve gone through by the sounds of it. I agree I’m nervous about delivery too, are you going to try naturally if you are able?

@twinmama90 hey no without my antisickness tablets I throw up constantly anything I eat or drink so I’m dependent on them atm. I wanted to give birth naturally but my consultant has said to have a C-section. Are you on iron tablets and aspirin? I’ve been put on them aswell never had them in my single pregnancy’s.

@BraveHeart91 Ah gosh, I’m so sorry it’s so rough for you. No I haven’t been put on iron or aspirin, are you in the UK or US? I have my 16 week appointment on Thursday so maybe they will then? My bloods came back fine though in terms of my iron so maybe I don’t need to. My consultant said I am a good candidate to give birth naturally as I’ve given birth naturally before but of course this is all down to the twins and whether they are head down when the time comes🤞 I would defo advocate for yourself though if you would like to give birth natural and there would be no risk to you and the babies

I’m in the U.K and you? how far along are you? I’m 21 weeks Thursday had scan today one baby is still breach been like that for 3 weeks now and other baby is head down. But all is healthy and well. No sign of ttts ect.

@BraveHeart91 Yeh I’m in the UK too, I am in Birmingham. I am coming up to 16 weeks. My consultant has said to me that as long as one baby is head down (baby a) then I could try a natural birth, they advised getting an epidural because quite often even if both babys are head down after they are delivered baby b might decide to go breach and they would need to turn them and that can be quite painful! Obviously I am still quite early so who knows but I would have thought you’d be a good candidate for a natural birth also. I would definitely advocate for yourself as to why consultant has suggested c-section and ask for the reasons if it’s something that you feel strongly about, I definitely would question why, especially with no prior concerns and one baby already being head down.
