Hi everyone I’m 10 weeks pregnant and still no sign of the nausea getting any better. When did it stop or ease for everyone?

With both my children it eased a lot after 13 weeks. Try to rest as much as you can. I know it's horrible

albalass · 27/09/2023 18:55

It was a gradual improvement but I think by 15/16 weeks I suddenly realised I felt completely 'normal' again! Hopefully you'll feel better soon 🤞

Wyewaving · 27/09/2023 18:56

14+2 for me. Very precise as it’s like my body had a last hurrah on 14+1 so I vividly remember it 🥴

Grumpyold · 27/09/2023 18:59

I was sick every single day of the pregnancy with DS2 and just after delivery 😆 The good news is you get used to it and it becomes part of your daily routine, like going to the loo.

Welcometotheocbitch · 27/09/2023 19:05

13ish! Hope you’re feeling better soon, it’s awful

Twiggywinkle13 · 27/09/2023 19:06

Just after the c-section though there was about 4 weeks I felt ok at about week 30. Please ask your midwife for anti sickness tablets, I didn’t know about these but they also really help with nausea it’s miserable.

Whataretheodds · 27/09/2023 19:09

13 weeks, gradually til I felt normal at 15 weeks or so.

cptartapp · 27/09/2023 19:10

About four months with DC1, nine months with DC2.

itscurtainsnow · 27/09/2023 19:12

I’m 11 weeks and my nausea is definitely easing OP, there is hope!

Ibouncetothebeat · 27/09/2023 19:14

Straight after delivery. Vomited all the way through labouring also. As soon as baby was out it was like the curtain lifted.

ladybird30 · 27/09/2023 19:15

Around 16 weeks for me. It really is horrible to deal with so I feel for you but when it eases everything becomes so much better. I really enjoyed being pregnant after that

Every single day I was pregnant I felt ill and threw up most days. Threw up during labour too but once she was out, I finally felt normal. Never getting pregnant again 😂

Holdmysunhat · 27/09/2023 19:21

Mine stopped at 10 - 11 weeks. I remember how abrupt it was though the nausea was never really that bad (unlike this pregnancy!) You must be super close to the placenta taking over so fingers and toes crossed for you!

jays · 27/09/2023 19:22

13 weeks for me, it just went away, it was like a miracle! Really hope it subsides for you soon, it’s rough! X

Fairylight102 · 27/09/2023 19:38

Quite a bit better by 12 weeks, then fully better from 15-16 weeks or so. Sending best wishes as I know how awful it can be!

Don’t be afraid to ask for anti-sickness medication if you need it.

lucya66 · 27/09/2023 19:42

I was sick most days week 6-21 then it dissapeared along with the nausea. Now I barely remember it and I’m only 26 weeks now. Being pregnant does get better!

bzarda · 27/09/2023 19:43

Also 12/13 weeks for me - dry crackers were the only thing that helped me. Good luck, you're nearly in the 2nd trimester which is by far the best bit of pregnancy:)

DuploTrain · 27/09/2023 19:46

14 weeks with DS1, 12 weeks DS2

Knock123 · 27/09/2023 19:59

My first baby it peaked week 11 and was just about gone by 16 weeks. I am currently 10 weeks with second baby and feeling considerably better than last week so hoping it has peaked. Really hope you turn a corner soon. This pregnancy I have relied on anti sickness medication to survive. It is worth speaking to the GP if you're struggling

snoopy18 · 27/09/2023 20:12
