And maybe even feeling a bit sexy occasionally?

I am about 30 weeks now and although i am feeling ok about my shape etc and haven't put on anything much apart from baby, i am finding it difficult to be motivated in the bedroom area, especially as lots of things are such an effort now (moving, sitting still, moving...)

Am trying to do my hair, make up etc to boost my self esteem a bit, but legs and other places are fast becoming inaccessible.

What are your top tips?

It looks like it's just us Carey87! Maybe everyone else on here is a catalogue model. (How do they look like that?!)

Some of us are too tired to care!
All the books I read seem to go on and on about accessaries to draw attention away from the bump. It's a load of nonsense in my opinion. You couldn't get away from my bump last time if you were in the next room! I think that compliments from DH/DP have much more effect.

Be Nicole Kidman? Sorry no tips. Isabella Oliver does really nice maternity clothes if that helps. Oh and make the most of your beautiful bosom. If you're anything like me (went from 32A to 36C) it's the only time you'll really have the chance to wear anything low-cut and feel proud My dh couldn't believe his luck!

FrannyandZooey · 05/03/2008 18:24

oh exciting accessories
eat lots of fruit and veg to make your skin fab
gentle exercise will lift your mood and your libido
nice underwear

MoosMa · 05/03/2008 20:34

Whatever you do, DON'T get your DH to help with your lady garden, it's TERRIFYING!

I looked awful all through both my pregnancies so I'm afraid I can't help much, but I agree, use the advanced cleavage and try not to look any further down than that

AitchTwoOh · 05/03/2008 20:36

i always found that my pelvic floor exercises made me a bit randified...

gigglewitch · 05/03/2008 20:37

get your hair done, as often as is practical if it's just a wash & blow-dry, getting hair and nails done made me feel beautifully pampered

never had chance since

Find a good waxer.

????????

A mug of hot milk and and radio 4 shipping forcast to get me to sleep is what I call 'hot bedroom action'.

Am most grim as with DS I did bloom, but my skin is awful and ive a but like a pimply teenager.....

misboo · 06/03/2008 09:07

I do love the shipping forecast...

The idea of DH helping with lady garden does terrify me totally.

Like the idea of not looking past the cleavage MoosMa, DP has already taken that one up i think!

Also why are the nice maternity clothes sooooo expensive? No way i could afford Isabella Oliver (unless i defer the mortgage...) I suppose it's cos we are a captive market...

Isabelle O much, much too expensive, I agree.
Just get your hair, nairs done, de-fuzz yourself and spend money on tops that enhance clevage and nice accessories
