Just wondering if I should have felt something by now? For the first one, I felt movement at around 17 wks, so am getting a bit worried! Thanks

I didn't feel movement any earlier with my second than I did with my first, they were both around 18 weeks i think.

Very Normal.
I have had 4 pregnancies and felt it early with my 1st around 19 weeks, very early with my 2nd but they were twins and that was at 14 weeks. My 3rd was about 20 weeks and my 4th pg was not till about 21 weeks.

15 weeks is still really early

Thanks - that's reassuring!! I'm probably just being paranoid....

I'm 20 weeks with my second and only just really starting to feel movement. Had my 20 week scan and apparently the placenta is at the front which sometimes cushions the movements so you don't feel it as much.

I was getting worried about it before the scan but now I've seen the baby bouncing round waving arms and legs but still not felt very much it's put my mind at rest.

I was convinced I was going to feel things really early as well, so it's not just you being totally paranoid!

don't be worried! it's perfectly normal not to feel anythign until 20 weeks or so. 17 weeks is very early to feel kicking.

Although you're likelier to feel movement earlier with subsequent pgs, it's not a rule at all. If the placenta was at the back the first time, but at the front the second time, you will feel the movements later as the placenta cushions them. Also if you are chubbier around the tummy you will cushion the movements yourself and so feel them later.

I didn't think I'd put on that much weight, but you might be right.....
Anyway, it's good to know that it's not abnormal - thanks for all your replies!
