Uppababy Vista V2 or Mamas and Papas Ocarro

Hi all, hoping you can help me. I really fell in love with the uppa baby when trying it in the shop, found it easy to fold, massive basket, functionality was good for both me and my partner and loved that it could be a double for the future. My only niggle is the size of the pushchair when folded for the car. I popped in mamas and papas yesterday to try the ocarro which was very smooth and all the above for ease except the double aspect.

If any parents have reviews of either of these pushchairs I would be appreciative to hear! Thanks

I have the Vista. Absolutely love it amazing pram. The big basket sold it for me - I never have to put the changing bag or shopping on the pram handles as there's room for both. Even managed to squeeze a scooter in there too the other day with it 🤣.

I suppose the compromise to the huge basket is yes it is bigger. The wheels can be taken off easily which we do sometimes when we go away and need more boot space so it can lie flat in the boot but that would be a bit of a pain if you had to do that everytime you used the car.

The double aspect - we initially liked that too but realistically have used it as a double about 3 times! (2.5 year age gap). In reality - my older one just walks or uses a buggy board which has been great. If you had a smaller age gap you might use the double more.

We love it and I'll be so bad to stop using it one day. Still going strong 4 year after we bought it but yes it is a bigger pram!

We regretted getting the Vista as it takes up SO much space in the boot and is really heavy. I struggled to lift it by myself. As soon as our son was big enough we switched to a travel pushchair and that became our primary buggy.

Love love love my vista. Had one when they first came to the UK. Bought it at the London baby show and had to wait months for it to be shipped. Dc1 was born in Feb. Ordered in Jan didn't get it until April! (The good ole days when next day delivery was unheard of) it cost £1200. Got one for my June baby this year and it was £1100. Crazy it hadn't gone up but down in price.

It's massive and a tad heavy but so robust. We do alot of country walks and cam fit everything in it. It's super sturdy and handles tree roots and rough paths a breeze. It's floaty to push if that makes sense and everything is pop and click. It's easy to clean and has a long warranty as well. We never bought a second pushchair or a lighter used ours until dc was 2 and half ish sold it when he was 3. They retain their value fairly well. We got £650 for it used in 2017.
