Morning mummies, im mainly looking at those of you who have had more than one, I have some questions please. They arent a big deal, and I dont think I'll really come away any clearer but I might as well ask!

This is my 6th pregnancy. I have zero children.

Ive had 3 terminations (2 were 14 years + ago, 1 was in 2020 owing to a relationship breakdown) (also I dont know why Im justifying that, I dont regret the abortions, more that I got pregnant when I wasnt in a position to be able to move it forward). Ive had two miscarriages, one about 13 years ago at maybe 8 weeks? And one in March last year at 16 weeks.

Im now 6+4.

If I look at the two miscarriages, in both instances I had very few typically pregnant symptoms. I was tired for the most part, with sore boobs and a very mild period pain once in a blue moon. No sickness.

For 2 of the terminations, I had quite a lot of nausea, sore boobs and very mild cramps, but I dont remember feeling ridiculously tired.

This time, and given how early it is, for the last 2 weeks, my uterus is pretty constantly raging, im peeing a lot, like up to 2/3 a night when typical it would be once max, I have very mild nausea but I am SO BLOODY HUNGRY, ill eat, be fine for an hour, then it'll just hit me and Im starving to a point I feel physically ill. And I am absolutely shattered. Oh and my boobs are SOLID.

It seems really extreme, when I had my first termination, I didnt even realise I was pregnant until maybe 8 weeks? Im sat here now like there is no way I couldnt have known for the last two weeks at the very least, and my boobs have been sore a week before even that.

I took a pregnancy test 8 days before I was due on and got a faint line, two days later very clear line. So my HCG was showing pretty early to my understanding.

So my query I guess is what is different this time, is it really a case that every pregnancy is different, could it be that different genders are having different effects on me, i.e. one gender ive been nauseous with and another im not (I know the 16 week loss was female and I had no nausea). Could it be twins?!

Again, I know no one is really going to have any answers for me, and Im all good, im just super curious as to why I feel SO knocked up right now and its so early.

Any thoughts super appreciated xx

Congratulations 😊
I’m currently only around 5 weeks pregnant with no 2, DC1 is 12 months old, but I definitely feel different this time around. I don’t remember really having any symptoms this early on last time, but this time I’m exhausted already, also have the extreme hunger you mentioned, I’m finding that I get breathless much more easily all of a sudden and I’ve had mild cramps on and off. I think it’s normal for each pregnancy to be different, based on people I know that have had multiple pregnancies as well it seems to be quite common.

I’m currently pregnant with my third, all 3 of mine have been completely different, all 3 are girls. My first I had a bit of sickness, second felt absolutely amazing all the way through, had some mild heartburn but that’s it, third I had a lot of nausea but only sick once, completely exhausted all the time, it is literally just every pregnancy is different.

Hi OP.
I had a lot of miscarriages and four live children.
I can honestly say that all my pregnancies were slightly different.
I ended up with two boys and two girls and the symptoms were different in each case.
I didn't have much sickness but the tiredness was off the scale, and I relate to the hunger thing as well.
Good luck with your new pregnancy - I hope it goes well for you this time.
