Let your midwife or GP know that you have covid so they can best advise you as soon as possible. My friend had covid during her pregnancy & due to certain factors was given blood thinning injections she had to do at home as it can increase risk of clotting apparently. You may be fine but definately get advice on it to be on the safe side. Hope you feel better soon.

Hey, I'm 9 weeks pregnant and just got over COVID. My immune system was strong enough to fight it with just paracetemol for the fever, water and rest so doctors said I didn't need anything extra x

Echoing others advice above. I had covid at around 20 weeks pregnant, and it gave me the worst cough I have ever had which lasted around a month (I was double vaccinated, but it didn't work/wasn't recent enough). The issue wasn't covid itself, it was the cough, which as this was my second pregnancy caused some leaking from bladder pressure, which then gave me really bad thrush infections for the rest of my pregnancy. I didn't have any scheduled appointments, and I think I felt embarrassed, so self treated with OTC medication, and then at my third trimester scan it turned out that my placenta was failing, the baby was 1% on the size scale, and I think it was caused by the issues above. Weirdly, my mucus plug was light grey/white and clearly infected which was when I realised what I had done by not telling my doctor about the issues. It was a bit scary but we were all monitored and totally fine in the end. I'm not saying this to scare you, i'm saying, please tell your midwife, and if there are yeast infection issues get treated by a medic rather than OTC treatments.

I had covid and 5 weeks and 32 weeks pregnant. It was rough especially at 32 weeks but after a week I was fine. Baby was born healthy too x

I had it last year at about 25 weeks pregnant. It was fine. They sent me an oxygen level monitor thing, and had a dr call me to check my levels once, but I was barely ill. I'd let your midwife know - when I had it we had to call maternity triage and they arranged for the oxygen thing to be delivered, but I don't know if that sort of thing would still happen. It was early 2022 when I had it, we weren't long back in the office after being sent home again for over that winter.

I had it at eighteen weeks, I let the midwife know and then a COVID midwife called me every three days to check on me, I had an oximeter already, so she just asked me if my readings were ok and told me that the baby was very well protected in there and to them it would be no more than a common cold

I had covid last year around 26 weeks pregnant. Aside from feeling absolutely dreadful for a few days it thankfully had no lasting affects on me or baby and I had a completely normally pregnancy and DC was born perfectly healthy.

Midwife / doctors weren't in the slightest bit concerned that I had covid and my care continued as it should have done, other than missing one midwife appointment due to being so unwell.
