Anyone had a successful pregnancy with thin womb lining?

I had a MC at 5 weeks start of August, I was scanned at EPU before I miscarried and they said my womb lining was thin, so I think that was the reason for my MC. They did a blood test after I finished bleeding and hcg was 2. Then 16th Aug I ovulated, and had a private scan to check my womb lining a few days later and it was only 6.4mm at 4dpo. I found out a few days ago I’m pregnant again, but I’m so worried about my womb lining being too thin again to keep this pregnancy. I’ve already spoken to EPU but they won’t prescribe progesterone until they’ve scanned me first to make sure the pregnancy is in the right place.

Just wondering if anyone else has experience of having thin womb lining but a successful pregnancy? I’m so nervous about losing this baby as well 😞

I have yes but i went through ivf so I had progesterone. Fingers crossed they give it you once your scan has gone well x

I'm currently 12 weeks, with 4 losses behind me. I can't say if this is a successful pregnancy or not yet but it's the furthest along I've ever gotten and baby is measuring good with a strong heartbeat. I have been on progesterone this time round because I have a thin lining and a tendancy for cervix to open. I started progesterone the day I got my positive. If I had waited long enough to be scanned, likelihood is based on past experiences I would have already miscarried by then.

@BudgetBuster thanks for sharing, I’m sorry for your previous losses. Can I ask who gave you the progesterone when you got your positive, was it GP or EPU? The day I got my positive I spoke to my GP (but not my usual doctor), my local EPU and even a private GP but all refused to prescribe me progesterone at this point.

I had been assessed at the Early Loss Clinic about 5 weeks before my positive test so I had alot of testing done. They gave Mr the prescription then to use if I got pregnant again.
My GP is absolutely useless, and the EPU have been pretty uncaring too (have been there for reassurance scans). On my last miscarriage I was in hospital for 3 days and essentially I had to demand to Be put under the early loss clinic care

@naggy095 may I ask what the outcome of this was please? I had a scan last week on cd24 and my lining was 7mm but I just found out I'm pregnant and my GP is also saying I can't have progesterone

@Ontheflipside_ congratulations on your BFP 💕
everything turned out fine for me, currently have my 3 week old snuggled up on my chest 🥹 I never ended up taking progesterone at all in the pregnancy. Whenever I had scans they never mentioned that the lining was too thin either so I think it thickened up eventually.

Do you have a local early pregnancy unit you can contact if you’re worried? They may be able to give you advice and offer you progesterone instead of your GP. Good luck I hope everything turns out ok 💕

@naggy095 Congratulations!! Hope you're both doing well. Thanks so much for replying, that's put me at ease a little. I'm impatiently waiting for my symptoms to properly kick in. I keep reminding myself that at 4 weeks last time I didn't feel much either and that was successful.
