Hi there, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant after 1 ectopic (removal or tube) and 3 miscarriage in the past 18 months so naturally I’m petrified.

I remember having this tissue type discharge with one of my miscarriages but it could just be coincidence, I just distinctly remember it. It may well be normal but can someone advise/reassure me? I’m loosing my mind about every little thing 😭 I just want to be able to enjoy it.

It’s white and like tissue paper type texture, I assure you it is not actual toilet tissue which was my first thought!

I had that early in my last pregnancy. Turned out it was a gnarly case of thrush. Wasnt itchy though which was strange.

Oh wow - can I take a tablet whilst pregnant? Just to ultimate that?

Yes same here, I'm around 7 weeks and had the tissue looking discharge last week. Awful case of thrush. I had no itching until after I used the pessarie! The pessarie seemed to get rid of the internal thrush but now the outside of the vagina is itchy and sore. It's really uncomfortable. You can try the cream to help the outside. I'm not sure they offer the oral tablet in pregnancy. My doctor prescribed me the dual pack of one pessarie and tube of cream

You can't have the oral medicine for thrush hen pregnant I believe but can use the standard canestan tube and pessary. Speak to your midwife or gp and they will give you a prescription.

Thrush can be reoccurring during pregnancy. I only ever had it once before and then 3 times during my last pregnancy
