Breast feeding and returning to work

Hi guys!
I'm a new mum to be and while I know this is way forward thinking, I'm curious if anyone has been in this type of situation.
I understand I may not be able to breast feed for various reasons as some women struggle, but hopefully I can.
I'm thinking into the future because I have a strange work schedule where I work for 48 hours solid in a go sometimes 72 hours. I have sleep hours there, however gone from home for a couple days. I'm not sure how or if this could work with breast feeding or anyone's experiences? I considered that I could always pump and bottle feed instead so that I could have a supply at home for while I'm away, however I'm not sure how I'd pump and store milk at work. It's so confusing but I'd be devastated to give up the chance of breastfeeding because of my silly work schedule.
Help?

Obviously pumping at work and having a stash would be the most obvious way.

How soon will you be returning to work, though?
And all you need to pump and store at work is some time/privacy and a fridge to keep the milk in. Could that be arranged? If youre there for days at a time, Id imagine there are fridge facilities? Ever freezer... And then take it home?

I love your forward thinking and tend to be the same. I used a breast pump to express and store the milk in a fridge at work. Then when leaving work, I use a cooler bag. The fridge at work has a freezer so I bring along ice packs that I put on top of the expressed milk to keep it cool on my commute.

Breast pumps have come along way. My favourite is a cheapie hands free one that I got from Amazon. You stick in your bra and 10 mins later you have your milk. It's silent and can be charged by USB. So really all you need is a private room.

Assuming that you aren't going back to work earlier than average, your baby will probably be 9-12 months old and on real food too by then. If you can pump amd store there then they will be fine with it in a bottle.or cup. Your supply will be well established and unlikely to be disrupted by a different schedule. I went back to work at 8 months on a 12 hour day and had to pump twice to begin with, then once then not at all. Boobs and babies both adapt.
