Hi ladies, first time ever trying to do anything of this sort, so would really appreciate some help and advice please. My apologies if I shouldn't create a new thread for it as I'm new to everything.

Could anyone kindly let me know if you think this is positive?
I'm on DPO11.

Also, if so, what should I do next?
Do you contact GP immediately or wait for another few weeks to ensure this is not a chemical pregnancy? My ovulation was one week late from normal, so technically my period won't be due until early next week.
Anything else I should be aware of? Cos I only had symptoms the first week after bd, but I had a stressful week and was walking in the rain and sleeping at 1am everyday and all sort of unhelpful behaviors, then the symptoms all disappeared this week which made me worried and thought it didn't work out because I didn't look after my body.
Do you keep a secret including your husband until things are more certain?

Many thanks in advance!

Looks positive to me.

I wouldn't keep it secret from the father of the baby, no.

It's all personal choice hereafter.

Call your doctor's to find out how to refer to the midwife team.

Agreed, looks very positive to me. Congratulations 😀

Also agreed, I wouldn't keep it from your husband. If anything does happen, I know I would have wanted my OH's support.

As for the GP, personally I didn't contact them until I thought I was about 5ish weeks. Though it wouldn't hurt to check what the process is. With my NHS trust, it was self referral online

If it doesn’t work out it won’t be because you walked in the rain or went to bed late. Women have babies in wars! You’re doing absolutely fine.

In terms of who you tell: it’s completely your choice. If it was me I’d tell OH so you have support, and because it’s his baby too.

If you want practical things to do: You can take pregnancy vitamins, and avoid the food and drinks listed on the NHS website. Call the GP if you’d like to find out what your specific area does in terms of referrals, or wait longer if you’d prefer.

And just enjoy this little moment. Whatever happens in the future, right now you are pregnant. Congratulations!
