Hello, a little background - I have one child - girl 6 years old. I am 28 and have been with my partner for 8 years. I have PCOS and have had 4 previous known miscarriages in the last 2 years. We have been trying for baby no2 for around 5 years now with no luck as yet.

I was given clomid by my gynaecologist and I have taken 7 cycles of this. I have fell pregnant twice while taking clomid but both ended in miscarriage. I am now out of options, I have no further help from my gynaecologist. I have tried taking multivitamins and folic acid but still no luck. I have tried changing my diet, I am not overweight. Still no luck.

Please can anyone shed some light? Maybe things that may have worked for you etc. We are not in a position financially to go private for IVF.

Have you tried taking ubiquinol supplements for at least 3 months to boost egg quality?

@wavyblue12 after 3 MC you should be referred to a recurrent miscarriage doctor on nhs? They can do some tests for you.

I know it may sound airy-fairy and it could possibly have been a coincidence but I had unexplained infertility for years then tried acupuncture and reflexology and fell pregnant within 2 months. Worth a try.

Can you speak to GP about referral to a specialist for recurrent miscarriage. You may be prescribed progesterone. Also they can do bloods to test for different clotting disorders that can cause recurrent miscarriage. These can be treated once identified. All the best x

I've been there and Dr Gorgy at The London Fertility Academy helped us to carry three babies to term (after several consecutive losses prior). It is private but the treatment for reoccurring miscarriages is not IVF and does not cost anywhere near as much. It might be worth researching his methods and or having one consultation. I think there are some NHS clinics offering similar treatment but I don't have personal experience of this. I'm almost certain the key for us was a combination of Clexane, Aspirin, Progesterone and Prednisolone. I really hope you find answers soon.
