Reduced movement 38+4 WWYD?

Can anyone advise?

First baby and it's been increasingly more quiet over the last few days.. I had a midwife appointment on Thursday who reassured me and everything was going good.. offered a sweep at 39 weeks and I decided to pursue this.

I had a bout of reduced movement at 36 weeks and they found out I was anemic which was probably the cause.

Today it's been major quiet.. I called EOU who advised to eat something with lots of carbs and lay down. It moved for about 15 mins and has gone quiet again.

Should I go in even tho I have felt movement?

Go in right away. I was in almost daily from 36 weeks because of reduced movements and ended up in emergency c section at 38+4 due to increased baby heart rate. The midwives are lovely and always want to see you if you're worried. I know you might feel like a burden or silly for being worried but you're honestly not. Reduced movements towards the end is not normal, check out the Kicks Count website / Facebook page for more advice. Honestly it's not worth the risk. Hope everything is ok xxx

Go in.
Please.
I did, and I came out with a baby, who had been in distress unbeknown to me.
That's what they are there for. You aren't wasting their time.
Please go in.

Absolutely go in.
I went in for reduced movements many times in the last few weeks of my pregnancy. Eventually I was induced at 38 weeks as there was a reduction of fluid and they found my placenta had begun to deteriorate.
As others have said, the midwives would be happy to check you 100 times. Don’t risk it.

Good you are going in. Always always get it checked. Even if it is ok now and happens again tomorrow, get it checked again tomorrow.
All the best.

update

Baby has totally switched up position 😭
Heart rate and movement good I just can't feel them very well because of new position

@Aismixx Glad everything is good with baby 😊 How frustrating that baby has moved at this stage. Remember to still get checked if you’re unsure. Don’t just put it down to baby having moved and you not being able to feel them well.
