Made a previous post about this. So I came in Saturday morning to start my induction. I had 3 pessaries that failed and I'm still only 1cm pushing 2cm my cervix is favourable and they said they can break my waters artificially. I'm still on a list to get my waters broken and been waiting days. Been here since Saturday and honestly feeling so.fed up watching people come in and out constantly and I'm just stuck here. It's the worst thing ever and so deflating ! I was supposed to be induced early as baby is measuring large and reduced movements. My due date is Saturday. I've cried so many times to the midwives saying hoe soul destroying this is ! And I've never known anything like it

Has anyone else experienced this ? It's just shocking !!

I asked this today they checked and advised the other hospitals are also packed. As they said they can look to see if there's a delivery suite available in another hospital and a midwife to give 1-1 care. No luck today 😔😔😔 it really is awful I'm struggling immensely

Do you have a midwife at your gp you can contact?
Can you find the numbers yourself to ask, I wouldn't be inclined to believe them until I heard it for myself. I know your exhausted and this might not be a fight you can handle right now but just throwing the ideas out there incase they help in any way x

There isn't enough staff, the government have wrecked the NHS, and voters have let them
I'm sorry you're having to go though this

Absolutely this. Bloody Tory government.

But for the op the wider picture is no help. All I can post is solidarity. Perhaps make a complaint via PALS?

Yes I think I will contact my midwife in the morning at my GP and then discuss as getting nowhere here. It's so bad !

I've made a complaint today via PALS - not sure if any action will be taken on it !
