How many weeks am I? Getting mixed messages

Hi so a few days ago I got my first bfp and I’m trying to figure out how many weeks I am now but I’m getting mixed answers from different sites/ calculating myself so I’m wondering if someone could explain to me why it all differs. So the dates are as follows:
3rd July: 1st day of last period (32 day regular cycles btw)
19th July: ovulation
30th July: first faint bfp (Checked with 3 tests)
31st July: bfp getting darker
1st August: getting darker again
2nd August (today): took “how many weeks” clear blue test which is showing “pregnant 2-3 weeks”

so going from the first day of my last period (3rd July) my due date (calculated on nhs website) is 12th April 2024 and it says I’m “3 weeks” but what I don’t get is that calculating just on a calendar it’s been 4 weeks 3 days since the 3rd of July. I also downloaded the “what to expect” app which is showing that I am “3 weeks 5 days” today. I’m so confused could someone please explain why there’s a week difference?

At this stage it's impossible to know exactly where you are, you have an idea of when you ovulated, but there is always a window of 24-36+ hours. You also don't know the exact date of conception and then implantation. At this point midwives will use the first date of your LMP to calculate a possible due date, which will then be refined when you have your 12 week scan (provided you are in the UK). This is the only date you can really be sure of at this point as its the only one with real evidence I guess. This is also based on the idea of everyone having a 28 day cycle which you obviously know you don't (I didn't either) so your EDD will likely shift slightly when you get to that first scan. Some apps will also work on a 28 day cycle automatically while others will let you change how many days your usual cycle is which is why you may have different dates on them.
Clear blue also work out your 'dates' based on a rough range of hcg for each week past conception but this is a huge variable for every woman. I never got a 3+ on a CB test but am very much pregnant with a currently very wriggly almost 24 week bub.
Not sure how much help that is but didn't want to read and run.

Yeah, you'd be 4w2d, going up a week every Monday until you have a scan where they measure baby and let you know. Congrats on your positive!

Going by my last cycle I'd be 11w1d today but according to my last scan I'm 10w5d. I haven't had my proper 12w scan yet so I'm just still going on as if I'm 11w1d because early scans can be slightly off.

The only date used to date your pregnancy at this point is date of your last period. The other dates dont matter. Going by 3rd July lmp that would put you at 4 weeks and 2 days. Which is also correct for the weeks indicator as you add 2 weeks onto those.

Once you get your 12 weeks scan it may well be altered slightly but for now that’s what they will go off.

Your due date is initially calculated from the first day of your last period and usually based on 28 day cycle which is why on a calendar you calculated 4+2. Based on your LMP and 32 day cycle your EDD is 12th April, making you 3+5 today. The NHS calculator doesn't say the 'plus' bit so when it says 3 weeks it means you're 3+something and haven't hit 4 weeks yet. As others have said it's an estimate and will change at your first scan where they then give you an EDD based on babies measurements. Remember that even women with same length cycles ovulate at different times and have different length luteal phases, so purely counting from LMP is never going to be accurate for everyone. Given you're already getting 2-3 weeks on a digital (meaning 2-3 weeks since conception), your EDD probably is going to be closer to 8th April. So if I was you I'd use the '28 day cycle' dates and say you're 4+2 today!

I'd go with the last missed period method then deduct 2 days for your later ovulation then the standard 14 days x

As above you base it on 1st day of last period then when you have your first scan you'll get a more accurate idea of due date. Even then baby will come when it comes, somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks is normal.
