At what week of pregnancy did your morning sickness/nausea stop?

Hi @1c2f3d about 12 weeks for me x

bathtimeducks · 29/07/2023 18:06

Mine is still going strong at 26 weeks Sad

1ofeach2 · 29/07/2023 18:06

Mine lasted the whole pregnancy for both.

newmummie · 29/07/2023 18:14

Not what you want to hear, but I'm 38 weeks and still nauseous & being sick :(, hopefully this won't be the case for you!

1c2f3d · 29/07/2023 18:17

Hi all 😊 I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and I feel like my nausea is getting less frequent. My nipples are still super sore and sensitive. No bleeding or anything but I'm such an over thinker 😞 feels like forever waiting for my first scan!

Mine improved at 8weeks then came back. I’m 16wks and still having nausea with vomiting

Frydaycryday · 29/07/2023 18:30

Birth

TTC53 · 29/07/2023 19:19

Sorry to say but mine is still going at 20 weeks. Sounds hopeful that yours is easing

MadeForThis · 29/07/2023 19:27

From 5-14 weeks

ReginaPhalange12 · 29/07/2023 20:12

@1c2f3d mine stopped quite suddenly at around 10 weeks

OctopusWave · 29/07/2023 20:12

Birth with all of mine unfortunately.

NoMoreAgeJokes · 29/07/2023 20:45

Mine stopped around 18 weeks.

I remember leaning over to pick something up from the floor, and thinking, wow, I don’t feel nauseous any more.

Deloresadores · 29/07/2023 22:38

40 weeks for all four. Sorry.
Try to keep eating little and often.

bagforlifeamnesty · 30/07/2023 08:09

In all of my pregnancies it’s got a lot better around 12-13 weeks and completely disappeared by 15 weeks. I’ve then had a little window for about 5 weeks where I feel vaguely human before the horrendous heartburn/reflux and restless legs kick in 😬 heartburn is then worse and worse all the way up to delivery. Then I have planned c-sections and have to do the dreaded post-section poo. THE JOYS!

A lot better at ten - eleven weeks. First time it came back at 12 weeks for a couple more weeks. This time I've just had small waves of nausea here and there.

It can depend on when your placenta develops, the average is around ten weeks. I had a private scan with both after the nausea subsided (had a MMC previously so a bit worried) and in both the sonographer said your placenta has developed and that's why you'll feel less nausea .

Peony654 · 31/07/2023 12:35

I'm 10+5 and haven't felt nauseous for last few days.

LittleButtercup · 31/07/2023 13:15

Mine started at 5 weeks and stopped at 15 weeks with both pregnancies.

10 weeks is quite a normal time for sickness to start easing off OP (for the lucky ones!) 😊

1c2f3d · 03/08/2023 13:51

Thanks all 😊 I'm 10+5 and the nausea has definitely slowed down. I get random little waves but nowhere near as bad as week 5-9 WOW

@1c2f3d hopefully that's the worst part over now. I remember before I'd even lifted my head off of the pillow in the morning I'd have to eat something so always had snacks in my drawer 😂

Un7breakable · 04/08/2023 13:01

Mine started at 6 weeks properly, eased off at 9 and I'm now 11 weeks and have stopped taking the meds. Still have odd waves of nausua but nothing like it was. Midwife said hormones start to ease off at 9 weeks so it's normal for sickness to reduce then placenta takes over.

CornishGem1975 · 04/08/2023 13:03

Around 13 weeks, the relief was massive.
