Hello,

I am 21+5 and have felt baby move on and off since 16 weeks, for the past couple of days, I have felt baby moving pretty much all day. Is this normal? Should baby be moving constantly? It’s not hard kicks but more like she’s rolling and bouncing around in there

Phone your maternity nurse or health visitor or whomever is attached to your pregnancy. They'll have actual medical knowledge.

If it's a change in movements either more or less always best to let midwife know.

I’ve got a very squirmy jiggly baby. Second baby.
First one was just like this - midwives said he’s a firecracker! I now have a very active toddler… his sister will likely be the same!!

I would ring MAU.
It's any change in movement not just reduced movement.

Baby still has lots of room in there so they'll be moving around sometimes when you can't feel it and vice versa.

I was told (by midwives and my consultant) that they don't expect a regular kind of movement til after 24 weeks and therefore differing movements before this gestation won't be investigated. I was turned away from EOU at 22 weeks my last pregnancy cause they said it was too early for reduced or increased movements to be checked.

Although I know from reading threads on here that some hospitals will check movement worries at any gestation, but I'm just going by what I've been told and I've had 2 babies in the past 4 years.
