Chemical pregnancy hcg levels

Hello, is there an indicative level of hcg quantity which would indicate a chemical pregnancy (aside from repaying bloods)? Eg would a low level of hcg generally be indicative of that?

Well, no, not really. Most people never know their hcg in that situation anyway. And the range of normal for a given gestation in the early days is very wide. What distinguishes a chemical pregnancy/failed conception would be the level dropping rather than rising, not a specific figure.

Hi, have a look at this link, which is relevant to IVF pregnancies: natalist.com/blogs/learn/what-is-a-good-beta-hcg-after-an-ivf-embryo-transfer

"A strong beta number at 17 days after fertilization (14dp3dt or 12dp5dt) would be over 200 mIU/mL". Lower than that and a chemical is more likely. Clearly some women have lower starting levels of hCG and do have a baby, as the stats show.

No. HCG can be very low in early pregnancy and varies depending on ovulation and implantation dates etc (for example 2 people could be deemed 4 weeks pregnant from date of lmp but if one ovulated early and the other late, HCG levels would be vastly different). Doctors class anything about 10 hcg as pregnant. The only way to diagnose chemical or miscarriage via hcg levels is monitoring them to see if they drop.
