What are these yellow bits in my colostrum?

Hi FTM here, I'm 38+6 and have been colostrum harvesting for a week, and every time I'm getting these little yellow bits from both breasts. Is that normal? (The photo is 2 breasts worth and makes it look brown but the bits are yellow/golden in real life - sorry if tmi!)
Thanks!

If yellow and opaque, it's fat droplets. mine has always been REALLY yellow rather than watery, but admittedly I've never been deliberatelt harvesting it, I'm just a bit leaky at the end of pregnancy of I hear a baby cry/dream about a baby. 24 weeks into 3rd pregnancy and I've already had a bit 🙄

Thanks I looked around on Google but didn't find much! I guess it will thicken up and become yellower after birth

The yellow bits are colostrum. It’s bright yellow/golden.

It was a shock to me when I first breastfed DS, he brought it back up and it was bright yellow - we thought there was something wrong with him!

The rest of it (the oily substance) is not colostrum or milk. It’s a normal discharge to have when you’re pregnant but I genuinely don’t know how beneficial it is to feed to a baby, so I’m not sure if it’s worth harvesting (someone else might know).

Oh I thought the whole lot was colostrum? The clearer part is sticky/stretchy
