I'm 36 weeks today and I keep getting coming and going waves of pressure about my cervix.

Feels like I'm about to pee myself or everything is about to explode out down there.

Totally normal or get the bags packed?

Braxton would be higher up.

It could just be your body getting ready to labour. But... full term is considered from 37 weeks so entirely possible baby will come the earlier side of 40 weeks.

I'd make sure my bags were packed.

It’s likely to be due to baby moving further into your pelvis. It does create a feeling of pressure. It could still be several weeks yet. Early term is from 37 weeks, full term is 39 week +. I would advise though you should have bags packed and ready to go by now just in case.

Have you timed them? How are they spaced?

i felt like this literally just before my water broke. I was up about 2 hours before my waters broke (broke at 4.30am) with my cervix and the muscles there being in absolute agony

Pack your bag and have a bath and then go to sleep.

I got this a lot around that time. I felt like she was trying to burrow out. I remember a good few times having to stop and hold onto something! She was a big baby and I think it was just the pressure (born at 39+3 by planned c section).
