Successful pregnancy after chemical

Hello everyone 🥰

I recently suffered a chemical pregnancy and it’s really now got me thinking that this is going to be me everytime I manage to conceive (if I do!)

does anyone have any success stories after chemicals to make me at ease a bit? I’m using this bleed I’m having as my period so CD1. Hoping to try again this month but who knows what will happen.

is there any supplements that help from miscarrying? I already take folic acid

Sorry to hear this I totally get how you feel I had 2 chemicals one october last year at 5.3 weeks and then this march at 6 weeks. Im now 17 and half weeks pregnant got pregnant staight after the 2nd misscarriage without a period. So yes it does happen you can get pregnant staight away. Infact you are more fertile so as long as you feel ok in your self get trying ❤️ all the best xx

I had a MMC at 10.5 weeks - 6 months later I was pregnant again and I now have DS 8 months happy and healthy. Don't beat yourself up these things are so common and it's nothing you've done

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s very common (but still horrible). I had one in early October 22 at nearly 6 weeks then one in November 22 at nearly 6 weeks then in December 22 I got another bfp and am now 33+3 weeks. So got pregnant 3 cycles in a row. I didn’t do anything differently as I knew that there’s nothing I could have done to change the outcome of the 2 losses. They were likely chromosomal abnormalities. This baby kicking away inside me now is the baby I was meant to have.

I don't have a success story myself, but I've been on and off the forums here for years and see absolutely tons of positive stories of successful pregnancies after chemicals and other miscarriages. Please don't think it'll happen again as your default thought - the statistics are in your favour that next time will be a healthy pregnancy.

Vitamins wise the only other one recommended to me was Vitamin D which can help support cell division apparently (if you get a prenatal or TTC supplement, they usually contain both folic acid and vitamin D amongst other things). Hope you get your positive story soon x

Hello!

I had a chemical in April, had a bleed in May and was positive in June! I did ovulate earlier than expected on my May cycle. I'm currently 9 weeks, I have everything crossed it all works out!

I had one back in January and then I march I fell with the one I'm carrying now, 19 weeks now!

99% of MC at that point in a pregnancy is down to chromosomal abnormalities, which are perfectly normal, although more frequent as you get older. Nothing you did or could have done would have changed the outcome of that. You just have to hope the right sperm and the right egg meet! I think it's something like only 1 in 4 fertilised eggs implant successfully! Just most of the time, you don't know about it.
