Low Papp A identified on private scan

Hoping anyone else might have been in this situation and be able to advise.
I was offered an NHS dating and nuchal screening scan when I would have been 13+5 which is fine except that I have really chronic anxiety and it would have meant getting any bad news whilst I was away on holiday with my friend the following week (I'm a teacher and the holiday had been planned for the start of the summer before I got pregnant).
My partner and I discussed it a lot and decided to pay for a private scan and I know we're very lucky to be a position to be able to choose.
I got the results back this afternoon and whilst it's very low risk for Down's, Patau and Edwards it turned up low levels of Papp A which can indicate problems with the placenta later in pregnancy.
The problem is I now don't know what to do with the information. The report says I need to refer it to my midwife and they will probably prescribe aspirin but I haven't been even be able to find a number for her and have been just moved around from wrong phone number to wrong phone number. I feel like I'm just being a nuisance. I don't know whether to just call my GP on Monday and beg for some advice. I know it might be frowned upon that I got it done privately. I'm now really glad I did get it done earlier as finding this out on holiday would have been really bad but maybe I was also naive to think I'd be able to do anything with the results. I'm also currently waiting for some worrying antibody results to come back at the moment. :(
Thanks xxx

I am 16 weeks and also have low Papp-A.
I had a private scan and NIPT done and told the midwife at my first appt. It is common, she was not bothered about it at all, I really don't think they will look down on your for having it done privately as so many people do.
my PAPP-A is very low at 0.16, I called the midwife when I got the results and they started me on 150mg as aspirin per day and said I will have growth scans later in pregnancy (not sure when as they are not booked yet).
Have you googled the name of your community midwifery team and left a message on their answering machine? The other option would be calling triage and they will be able to give you the community midwives number.
There is also a Facebook group called low pAPP-A support group which is very helpful as Google is all doom and gloom, but even with low numbers like mine many babies are absolutely fine, just need to be monitored more in pregnancy.
