C-section Spinal block - did it help chronic nerve pain? am I crazy to connect?

I have chronic abdominal wall nerve pain - take amitriptyline which dulls it slightly but still debilitating. When I was pregnant with my daughter month 7-9 were unbearable pain - to the point I felt I would not make it through

I had a planned C-section & miraculously & unexpectedly had ZERO pain for a month after birth. This has never before happened to me before in 10 years (best I could get would be a few days). Then the pain returned overnight & have been living with it since for 2 years.

I am seeing a new pain consultant & when filling out my health history I had a sudden thought of could the spinal block miraculously have also blocked my nerve pain. I will discuss with Dr of course but just wanted to check in case anyone had experienced similar? I am so grateful for advice

Could it be that the pain is radiating from a nerve that was cut when they cut you open to get the baby out, and the pain came back when everything started to heal/rejoin? I only ask as I have one side of my CS scar that's permanently numb and one side where the nerves joined back together, it was excruciating flashes of pain for about 6 months and I now have full sensation where they rejoined themselves like the CS never happened. I'm just wondering if something like that could be the explanation as I'm not sure how a spinal block would be able to do that for that length of time?

Google epidural injection for chronic pain relief.

I had a bad back ache before I had my last section. There was no lasting pain relief - my baby was in NICU and I had to walk very slowly holding on to the walls to go to her to try feeding.
