Hey everyone...First time posting!
Has anyone been or going through the same as I myself?
Found out I was pregnant and went for a private scan on the 10/06/23 just to check my dates out really(I had no clue how far I was and was not expecting to see anything either)
We were told I was 6 weeks and that there was 2 sacs and could only measure 1 pole being 4.5mm and no heartbeat(which we know was too early anyways)
2 weeks later I started to bleed so went for a scan at the hospital to see what was going on.
I was then told there was 1 sac with 2 fetal poles measuring 4.5mm 🤯
And no heartbeats and they put me at 6.5 weeks.
I was then told there was alot of blood around the sac and was given a 60-70% chance of a miscarrage, I was then prepared for the worse by the nurse.
I have to wait till the 10th of July to have another scan to see if anything has progressed or they are unfortunately not there.
I have been in bouts of pain and bled but not the amount I was told and have had no clotting either..the pain is now subsiding after a week.
I have prepared myself for the worst as its how I deal with it and kind of makes it easier for me.
But has anyone else had this or similar?
Was it the other sac that's made me bleed?
Was there even 2 sacs?
So many questions I can't answer, I can deal with the answers either way it would just be nice to hear from someone who has been through similar events even if the outcome wasn't a good one.
Thanks in advance 😁

Not had anything too similar but the blood surrounding the sac could be subchorionic haematoma. It's quite common but more risky at earlier weeks. I'd say 6.5 weeks is still a bit too early to detect the heart beat. Usually people wait until 7 or 8 weeks esp if it's transabdominal scan. Did they do an internal scan?

I had IVF pregnancy so had an internal scan at 6w+6 and it detected good strong heart beat. I then had some bleeding and cramping at 8w+5, went to EPU and found a large subchorionic haematoma. The midwives were not super concerned though. I had a bit more bleeding afterwards but nothing too heavy, and I'm now 32w pregnant.

Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks so much for your reply.
And yes I have the same haematoma bleed, I guess it's the not knowing that really drives you mad.
I did indeed have an internal scan as they could not see anything the other way, which I did expect.
It's nice to hear your story and that there can be hope 😁
