Hi,

just Want to see if anyone has experience similar. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I am currently 26 weeks, baby is usually quite active and I can feel the baby high up in my ribs and at the sides of my stomach but in the last 3 days I haven’t been able to feel the baby high up. I can feel some sort of thump/pulse really low like in my vagina and around my pubic bone.
I don’t know wether to call hospital as can still feel baby but definitely not as much, feeling confused

any advice?

It can be normal for movement to change before 28 weeks, but any change in movement should be reported and they should tell you to come in for monitoring.

Drink some ice cold water that usually gets them moving. Also best to call the hospital and tell them. Hope everything's ok x

My boys movements didn't slow down during pregnancy, but if you have any concerns definitely go in and get checked/scanned. Everything could be fine but I'm sure the hospital/midwives would rather you go in just incase anything is wrong

Go to the hospital and ask to be checked. It is better to be safe than sorry.

They do move Inti different places and things do change. I remember with my first that movements were bizarre and I regularly went to be monitored and I could only feel about 1/10th of the actual movements, so it's quite normal.
HOWEVER I would say to speak to a professional about your concerns as its best to get things checked out

My midwife said reduced movement should always be checked out.

I always give this advice. But if you are worried enough to ask on here, then call your midwife/hospital etc and ask for advice. It is their job, you are not a bother, they will get this call many times a day as pregnancy is scary as hell! It is likely they will want to check everything is OK. Its always better to be safe. Ring and you will soon feel better when there will be a plan in place.
