He wants me to get an abortion

So I recently found out I was pregnant, my partner insisted on an abortion from the get go. I agreed and made an appointment at the clinic. After scanning to see how far on I was (on the pill so didn’t have periods to track), turns out I’m 15weeks 6 days. This obviously was a massive shock for me, and changed my thoughts instantly on not being able to have an abortion.
problem is he still wants me to have an abortion, and doesn’t see an issue with it. Now he’s ignoring me and not replying to my messages.
I guess I’m just after some advice, I’m just in shock I think.

Very different emotions, I saw the scan as well and I agree with what you’re saying the abortion would affect me mentally.
I know in my heart what I want, but I need a few days away from him to get my thoughts together.

First of all, I'm so sorry your (ex?) partner isn't more supportive and you're in this situation.

Had a similar(ish) situation. I went to the clinic for an abortion and in the end, the nurse went to chat to the surgeon, who then came to talk to me and explained he wasn't happy to perform the procedure on me that day. I suppose they could tell from what I was saying that I was being pressured. I'm very grateful to them.

The bio father left, obviously (which was a good thing, in hindsight). Being a lone parent was very very tough but I managed and now my DD has been adopted by my DP, and we also have a DS and we're a very happy family.
