I'm nearly 17 weeks pregnant after ivf and 3 losses and the care so far at royal london has been lacking

They were late to book me in because they lost my referral.
Have referred me to high risk and havent told me anything
Endocrinology was supposed to get back about my medication. And havent done so.

Currently was waiting for my 16 w phonecall and havent had it. It has only veen a few days over.

I needed help with some back ache and called the helpline only to be told to go to a&e.

I'm just worried theyve forgotten me again like thry did for booking me in.

Any advice and experiences would help. Thank you

I was high risk at Homerton and they were excellent. I had loads of different issues and they were good at following up. One of my friends was at UCLH and had the same issue with them forgetting stuff. I’d definitely move. My baby was ill when he was born and they have a really good special care team, which is reassuring. Good luck.

I had a complex pregnancy and Homerton were absolutely amazing

Wouldn't touch the Royal London with someone else's barge pole. My friend had an absolutely horrendous time there and the lack of care was truly shocking.

Thank you all, ive actually registered and had my first midwife appointment. Also got all consultant appt and others booked super quick and theyve been so helpful in making sure all my worries are settled.

I'm so glad I've moved because royal london did for real forget. I emailed them this weekend to say ive moved but up until then they still hadnt called me for the 16 wk virtual appt . And I'm 19 weeks now..

I've had 7 babies and 6 sections at the Homerton, antenatal care was fantastic, nothing missed or forgotten, always happy to reassure, got me through 2 tricky potentially dodgy sections, 7 healthy babies, only thing I'd say is that for me, the post natal ward wasn't great, unbearably hot, noisy, had to ask for painkillers, not really a criticism, as they were understaffed but just something to prepare for..

I had two c sections at the Homerton. First one high risk and they were wonderful, I have such a soft spot for the place!! Post natal ward is awful though but that seems to be par for the course.

I had an emergency C-section at Homerton. They were amazing.
IMHO they are very experienced with high risk pregnancies.

This is in july but just to say to everyone and for those that might come looking in the future,

Homerton ended up being amazing. I needed an emergency c section abd they were brilliant with it. The care was impeccable and I will definitely be going back for my second. The postnatal ward as mentioned by everyone was unbearably hot, busy, loud and always out of toilet paper? But still we got through it.

I ended up using 4 different places which were turpin suite, delivery suite, emergency maternity critical care unit and templar ward. The people in each one of these places were absolutely amazing
