35 weeks tomorrow and I don’t know, it is possible that with the passage of time I’ve forgotten but I don’t remember finding it this hard at the equivalent stage first time round. This time I have awful backache, tired, so very tired, feel generally uncomfortable and even brief activities exhaust me.

Its a different time of year (dc1 was born in December) and I know every pregnancy is different but I really don’t remember feeling this wiped out!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It’s because you have a child to run round after this time.

The end is always hard. I personally think it’s natures way of making you look forward to labour !

And that! But even on days I don’t have my toddler (when I’m at work) I’m exhausted. It probably is that, though.

because you’re either working or with a toddler- there is little to no time for rest. It’s so hard.

For what it’s worth I’ve had a baby in summer and a baby in the near winter- I love a summer newborn- the sun made the sleepless nights easier and your other child can play outside - plus they go to school earlier!

all my pregnancies have been hard in different ways but my first was probably most awful despite being very sick with number 2, I felt the healthiest with dd. Boy pregnancies don’t seem to suit me. Third was hard as I was 11 years older than with my first so I think was partly age related, and working full time in a demanding and active role.

Not always harder. I had hyperemisis for the first 2 pregnancies, but to my surprise I've been much better this time. Getting a bit more sleep as a result of not having to get up to be sick multiple times a night.

Having an older child will make you more tired. How old is yours? I'm sure small age gaps must make for a tough 3rd trimester! I remember last time suddenly realising I couldn't keep up with DD when she was running and being enormously glad that she was nearly 4 and very sensible. Terrified about keeping up with my twins who will only turn 3 2 weeks before my due date....

I personally think it's really tough being pregnant when it's hot. My eldest is a september baby and my goodness was that August tough.

Wishing you all the best for the last few weeks xxx
