Hand hold please! I've been let go from my job today, at 25 weeks pregnant. It will be okay won't it?

Why were you let go? You have a lot of protection while pregnant from discrimination.

3 reasons.. not sackable imo!

If you genuinely believe they’re not sackable, you could get some advice from your local CAB and go from there.

But we really need to know the supposed reasons behind your sacking to advise you better.

  1. Long term conditions they didn’t know what was happening - I sent a update about invites and bookings each week
  2. reports not completed - they took them off me and gave me 0 training, I emailed to confirm payments from the GP partner, had no response.
  3. LES claims, when I went back in April these were all complete, I was never told to do them again, or followed up on, it’s now June.

If you have been there less than 2 years they can sack you for no reason.
However, if you have reason to believe your sacking was due to your pregnancy or any other protected characteristic then they may be in trouble.
Contact Pregnant then screwed

Did they take you through performance management for these concerns?

divorcingmumoftwo · 06/06/2023 16:29

Nope

Contact Pregnant then Screwed.

Have an honest discussion with their advisor. Have your contract, start date and all communication related to your pregnancy in front of you.
