Sub chronic haematoma and travelling

Hi there, ive had a sub chronic haematoma diagnosed in an 8 week scan after bleeding (pretty much for all of the pregnancy up until then)
Im now at 10 weeks and the bleeding has slowed but im aware it could still be in there and i need to wait for my 12 week scan to confirm if its still there/shrunk/gone.
My question is this- i have a holiday booked on 25th june (when ill be 15 weeks ish) and im unsure what to do about travel insurance.
Has anyone been able to declare this? I called an insurance compaby and the guy was quite clueless and kept asking if i need 'ongoing medical care' for the issue but im unsure about the answer!
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks!!!

Following with interest as I've had SCH in 2 pregnancies!

Have EPU prescribed anything for it? Or forbidden any activity? If you are bleeding on your trip might it lead you to need to claim? Ifnot then aside anything that might arise from your 12 week scan (which is routine) then doesn't sound like you need ongoing care?

Obviously you'll need to declare you're pregnant and check they cover pregnancy and any complications arising from it.

Have you actually got insurance yet?

Hello! Ive not been forbidden any activities and not prescribed anything. Theyre quite blase about it really and say 'itll likely heal'. Thankfully its below the baby which is apparently less risky?
Out of interest did yours resolve themselves?
Yes my instinct is that i dont require ongoing care but i guess ill ask at my 12 week scan next week...

I'd have surely thought you'd have to declare it for your insurance to be valid

Ah sorry, I see. I thought you'd not put it on at all. Might be worth a quick email. Just incase!

Below the baby is good news! Fingers crossed the 12 week scan will tell you all has resolved.

If not, ask them what to expect and how they want to monitor it. They don't have to be an issue, but they seem less well known about. My GP asked me what caused them!
