Hi all, I’m 6 weeks on Monday and have used IS clinical skincare for the last year with good results… I always thought it was pregnancy safe however found an article online saying some of it isn’t!
what skincare products are you all using while pregnant please? My skin is quite acne prone and dry so something gentle with spot fighting properties would be perfect.
thank you so much 🙏🩵

Use https://www.15minutebeauty.com/pregnancy-skin-care-guide it covers pretty much every brand and tells you what isn’t safe and what is.
It was honestly a life saver for me.

My personal products are as follows.
Fresh Face Cleanser, Vichy Hyaluronic Acid, Biossance Moisturiser (gel for the day and omega in the evening), Biossance vitamin c rose oil and Drunk Elephant tinted mineral spf 😊

Pregnancy Beauty: Everything You Need to Know

Pregnancy skin care is different than normal skin care. Your skin is changing throughout pregnancy due to hormone shifts, but you can't use all of the same active ingredients. Here's a guide to pregnancy skin care.

I am going to follow this post. Since finding out I am pregnant my skin has been awful. The right side of my chin is covered in sore under skin pimples and my nose is nearly sore to touch... I've been using tropic but I feel it just isn't agreeing with my skin right now?

Since becoming pregnant I got a lot of blackheads and spots. Hardly anything on my face but on my shoulders and back 😣i have been using The Ordinary Niacinamide (posted above) and Paula's Choice BHA liquid for a few months now and there has been a big improvement.

The main thing to avoid is retinol or other vitamin A containing products! Most other skin care products are safe because the active ingredients are in such a low concentration, but it's always worth checking

@sommeliermama that’s my combo! They work a treat for pregnancy breakouts.
thankfully I only got first trimester breakouts but they sorted them right out 🙏🏻
