Is it too early for morning sickness?

I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and no sign of sickness yet. I felt sick the whole time with DD1 and am paranoid as I don't feel the same this time around (had a miscarriage in November). Is it too early for morning sickness? When did it kick in for anyone else?

theminxy1 - I was the same as you (had a mc in October) and wanted sickness really for reassurance . Mine kicked in just before I was 7 weeks and to be honest hasn't been that bad, nausea rather than sickness. I'm now 11+6 and nausea has really tailed off for me. Although a few of mums to be on my antenatal thread haven't had sickness at all so you may not get it. Take care of yourself its so hard to relax after a mc but I find it helps to tick off each day as you go as a milestone rather than seeing it in weeks. Sorry about the waffle but HTH

mine started the day after conception - although that may have been hangover - it continued for 42 weeks and only stopped when DD popped out. horrific.
too right about the post miscarriage paranoia - every twinge, every vague feeling....
good luck

6 weeks with ds and this one was 8 weeks- plenty of time yet Fingers crossed you won't get it at all! Good luck.

I read that only half of women that are pg actually get morning sickness. I didn't get it for a while and then all of a sudden I just felt rank!
