i have a quick question about it. we have a cot for overnight use, but understand that in first few weeks, our new arrival would be safer if we put her in a moses or something smaller.

we are getting this cocoon anyway - would it be safe to put this in the cot instead of getting a moses?

TIA

Personally I wouldn't use it overnight Tyaca ... ours has been in the attic for last couple of years so can't go and examine it but I don't think it's comfy enough for overnight and it's also much smaller than they say. DS2 was out of it at 12w. I thought you could use a cot overnight if you put baby's feet right at the bottom. You can buy cot divider things that you put across the cot which might be suitable to stop him/her wriggling too far up.

HTH ... and hopefully you'll get some more replies if I bump it up for you

I wouldn't use it for overnight use. Cots by them selves are very safe for new babies, put her feet at the bottom end of the cot and you could use a grobabg or swaddle blanket to keep her more cosy.

you could, but remember it is smaller and it doesnt have breathable sides, which may be an issue? like cot bumpers? i dont know how you would feel to leave them in it overnight if you werent 'watching them' iykwim.

But it definately is like a moses baset while they are very small.

ty guys, think the lack of breathable sides was what made me wary, doesnt seem quite right. if feet to feet is safer will do that.

TY for bumpage millie
