HelloSmile
I just saw the lovely midwife and she had a good feel. I was worried about the baby being back to back as i feel kicjs RIGHT on mu belly button. Well they (there was 2) couldn't tell if it was back to back but it's definately breech as they both felt head right at the top.
Has anyone else been breech at 29 weeks and then it's turned around? They said it's got lots of time to move but still can't help worrying.

Thanks+

Bean was breech at that stage and so was I when my mum was pg. We both turned around before we were born, but bean was still back to back until I was actually in labour.

Don't worry too much, you've got tons of time!

My dd1 was breech at 31 weeks and dd2 was breech at 28 weeks both moved in plenty of time.

As for being back to back both my dd's seemed to move round a lot during pregnancy before finally deciding on a position nearer the time.

You've plenty of time to go so please don't worry too much.

I was also told this and worried. I'm now 33 weeks and haev stopped worrying...

Firstly there is plenty of time to turn and secondly each midwife/GP will tell you something different anyway and they'll be pretty be certain they're right. I know that the baby hasn't shifted oreintation (kicks and lumps are always in the same place).

Hello, well i haven't had that problem but my best friends son was back 2 back and breech at 35 weeks and he turned and was born fine.
Baby still has plenty of time to turn so try not to worry to much!

I don't know much about this, but I do go to a weekly ante natal yoga class, and the instructor there was giving one of the girls quite specific exercises to do to help turn her breech baby, and she was about 32-34 weeks I think..... Might be worth a try? Good luck!

DS was breech/transverse/weird combinations etc until about 36 weeks when he settled down.

At 29 weeks there is LOTS of time for them to do everything they want to - they started to get a bit worried with me around 35 weeks but not at all until then.

And Popsycal, hope the BO improves Grin

Lots of info \link{http://www.mother-care.ca/breech.htm\here}; says 25% of babies are breech at 28 weeks so I guess you're alright! Scroll down for things to do about it though.

Dd was breech so I'm a bit concerned about it this time, but midwife said with second babies they often just keep changing position until you go into labour. Ho hum.

\link{http://www.spinningbabies.com/Pages/Page%204.html\Here} are some exercises to help the back-to-back thing (and the head-down bit too I think).
