I am sure this baby has long toe nails or something. Am finding movements quite painful now! Am 35 weeks and can see clearly when a leg/foot/hand whole body is moving!!

I'm 32 weeks and it's sometimes uncomfortable when LO mvoes, but not painful as such, the only time it's painful is if I sit in one position for too long.

I used to LOVE freaking out dh with that
dd1 was usual kicks etc
dd2 was like alien trying to manouver round and could see actual hands/feet etc

am sorry you're sore, I used to try to poke her back if she was hurting me, wouldn't advise it as she is a generally angry child and i think thats why

I loved freaking DP out when DS1 did it! He didn't cause me any discomfort!!

DS2 i don't recall ever doing the "alien" thing

this one is quite painful....

quite common - my dd2 had me in agony!

yep it can be painful, i am 38wks and this one hurts at time, my stomach changes shape and the woman in john lewis was a bit freaked as when she was measuring me for nursing bras yesterday she could see my tummy moving etc.

i reassured her it was quite normal, but yes it can be very uncomfortable and makes me wince or catch my breath sometimes.

& sometimes it feels like the foot or hand will get out of my tummy, can even see the movements when baby turns! overwhelming but painful
