Proper health anxiety going on!

I'm 7 weeks pregnant, unexpectedly, this will be my 5th child 🙈

My youngest is 12... so as you can imagine it's been a while.

I don't know when I'm going to get over the shock of this surprise.... it just doesn't seem real.

Can you hit me with your pregnancy stories.... really crave some reassurance.

I had a bleed a few weeks back x all looks ok in terms of HCG rising... will have a scan next week to check growth xx I'm praying this isn't a molar/phantom pregnancy.

Crazy how this has happened and I'm preparing to have a baby and not a big fat trip to Vegas with my friends xx

I had a surprise at 43. I also paid to have the harmony test done with my gp. That gave me great reassurance as I found previous to that I couldn't relax. She is the absolute light of our lives and I can't imagine not having her. Age gaps can also be great fun. It's great when the older children have friends around as well they love chatting to the cute baby sister. It's a completely different dynamic to when I had my older two. Also think of the fun the older ones now will have helping plan things like Santa. Health wise I had an absolutely miserable pregnancy. Best of luck

Wow, incredible, was that naturally conceived or with IVF? I am also 43 and am thinking about fertility routes. I am not keen on the IVF route and all the medication and retrievals, but considering all options.

@Sparks654 completely natural and unexpected we still wonder how it happened lol

Naturally for us after one mmc- he’s here now and 12 weeks today! Not going to lie, exhausting and hard to find time for my older one but things are levelling out now and he’s a great sleeper unlike my first.. so that helps!

@Sparks654 I had my second DC at 39 and became pregnant first month trying however I had been on a fitness kick completely unrelated to ttcing I had just been feeling I wanted to feel better so I was at my target weight and exercising very regularly etc and I think it helped massively
