From what I'm reading it says there is a possibility of side effects to the baby?!

I can keep food and drink down but I feel utterly miserable and nothing is relieving the nausea. I have a 3yo to look after and I am struggling to do basic things. I've kind of got one activity in me and then I'm done for the day....difficult when I have to work (active job), clean, care for a child, etc.

Too scared to take this at the moment.

Weirdly the NHS website is the ONLY website that says its OK to take...everything else says it may be harmful to the baby.

I was prescribed it during both pregnancies, doctor and midwifes reassured me that it's safe and I had no issues. It didn't fully take away the nausea but it did reduce it to a point where I could cope with it.

Took avomine from 6 weeks until birth due to HG. Baby was fine.

Yes. I had it years ago. GP said something about how it's mainly just used for HG these days.
I used to take it around 5pm, sort out my toddler the have my food when the avomine kicked in. Then slept. It made me very sleepy. I could have breakfast and just picked food in the daytime before I could take the next dose.

Never tried this and I'm on 3 different meds for hg atm.
Usually they say there's a risk with antisickness meds x

A lot of medications are never and probably will never be tested on pregnant women, therfore they will always carry the 'not safe during pregnancy or not recommended etc'.
It's weighing up the options with your doctor and midwife and choosing from that info. Not easy when you aren't felling great or are anxious as it is

Feeling quite worried, we have had pregnancy losses in the past and this baby is a bit of a miracle due to health conditions. I've just read that it's a cat c pregnancy drug in aus and USA meaning that there aren't enough studies to determine level of risk...
So I don't know what to do!!

I'm pretty sure the doctor knows what he/she is doing!
