Hi just looking some advice on opinions on the best next to me crib, it's the last big thing in my list to get. There are so many available it's a bit of a mine field. Preferably I would like one with wheels. All suggestions welcome

We used the Chicco next to me. It was particularly good for our baby because you can raise the top half and he had horrendous reflux so that helped settle him at night. I got it second hand. They’re expensive to buy new and not really worth it because the most anyone uses them is about 6 months (unless they have a second baby). So it’s worth looking on Facebook pages etc to see if any come up. You just have to buy a new mattress which you can get online (doesn’t need to be Chicco branded, just Google next to me mattress). We never actually attached it to the bed because I ended up not breast feeding but I did like the idea of being able to “slide” baby over rather than keep getting up to lift him.

We only got about 3 months out of ours because we used a moses basket initially and then he moved into his cot/nursery just before 6 months.

My friend used one from Aldi for her two girls and it seemed to be just as good. Not sure if it raised at the top though.

I can’t say if it’s any good because we haven’t used it yet, but we just bought a chicco next to me air. I’m not planning on attaching it to the bed but just stand it next to the bed. That being said who knows once he’s here. I found it on eBay for a local pickup so it was a fraction of the price, still looks news. I think the person had two and just never used this one for some reason.

The alternative I was looking into was maxi cosi iora air, but the chicco appeared first and that decided it.

We got a snüz and it's great! Used it for multiple babies now and would definitely recommend

Got a Chicco next2me second hand. Glad I didn't pay full price because I started co-sleeping around 3 months and she's too big for it now at 9. I still have it attached though because it's handy to store her books and toys.

It for very handy for the first 3 months with the adjustments and easy to fold up when traveling

Sorry for jumping in here. My sis in law has given me a second hand chicco next to me “magic” for my baby due in December. It stinks as it’s been up the loft but I will wash the fabric and get a new mattress. I looked online and it seems this model is quite old, there is now a “magic 2” which makes me think it doesn’t conform to latest safety standards etc. I also don’t have proper instructions on how to set up safely. Would you use?

I had a next2me with my first. Hardly used it as he wouldn't sleep in it so got rid of it. Then got a tutti Bambini for my second.

I preferred the tutti bambini lite. They are very similar but it nicer to look at and had storage at the bottom. It could also be raised one end if needed.
