6 week - HCG question

Hey need some advice to keep my mind from swirling. Hcg level only went up by about 13.6%, in 42 hours. 6 weeks and 2 days today.
1st was 3145, 2nd was 3511..
Heartbeat seen on ultrasound and everything looked normal.
Some spotting (light brown and little bright red), mild cramping.
The provider I saw wasn't very helpful about the questions I had or offering advice.
Is this something I should be concerned about or does the slow rise appear normal (anyone with that experience?)

I really don't like private places as they do t seem to help answer questions.
NQ but scientist who has been in your shoes. The main things to concentrate on are that you have a heartbeat and things look ok. Cramping and blood can be very normal in pregnancy, they can also show miscarriage too, so it's no indicator. HCG should be rising, yours is, it's not dropping. The rest is a waiting game, but at 6 weeks the foetus is embedding and a placenta is starting, burrowing into the lining of the uterus so cramping is very normal and so is spotting.
Good luck

Blood spots smears etc are normal..cramping isn't so good especially if your feeling it in your lower back. But some women can also cramp badly as muscles etc start to move and adjust in the first 3 months with slight blood smearing and similar and be absolutely fine.Defo see your Dr if the cramping persists and defo if in your lower back

I can’t comment on the hcg levels but just to add some reassurance, I had mild cramping akin to light period cramps throughout the first trimester and it was absolutely fine. DD is now 11wks old so cramping isn’t always a bad sign, in fact it’s very normal in the early days.
