Hello lovelies!!
I m 16 weeks and I couldn't stop myself from lying on back and that's the only position that puts me to sleep,
Even if I go to sleep on sides I end up being on my back!!

Is it concern what are your thoughts?

Sleeping on your left side is most recommended but either side is better than sleeping on your back as your baby gets bigger. If you wake up and find yourself on your back just roll back onto your side.

I use a wedge pillow, so if I roll onto my back at least it’s still a tilt. I got it around 15/16weeks.

I’m also a back sleeper and really struggled but I’m glad I perceived with it early on as I’m 30 weeks and now used to falling asleep on my side. I often wake up on my back and just roll back to my side.

I usually have my pregnancy pillow on one side and another pillow on my other side so that if I lay on my back in my sleep I'm on a bit of a tilt and not completely flat if that makes sense? Xx

The Tommys advice is not to sleep on your back in the third trimester so I would say you’re fine. It also says not to worry if you fall asleep on your side then wake on your back. Just roll back to your side and go back to sleep.

If you’re still concerned about it in the third trimester then lay on your side with some pillows behind you to stop you rolling. I am a side sleeper naturally so it’s not a big problem for me but even if I was a back sleeper I couldn’t as lying on my back has made me dizzy from around 30 weeks.
