Taking baby food out and about

Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question!
DD is almost 7 months and we began weaning as soon as she turned 6 months old. On the recommendation of our health visitor, we started with 2 weeks of purées, to then move to more of a combination of purée and BLW by week 3, however she then had tonsillitis, so we took a break away from weaning completely until she was better. We restarted 3/4 days ago now, but we are just doing purees again whilst she readjusts back to weaning.
This week we have a couple of birthday meals out that coincidence with the time we would usually give DD her food, so I'd really like to bring her food to have whilst we're out at the restaurants. We make all of her purées at home ourselves, and I'm wanting to continue this, but what's the best way to store the puree to take it out? Is there usually a set amount of time it can be out before eaten? Could I make it in the morning and put it in the fridge then take it out with us, or would it need heating?
Sorry if these are stupid questions, we're still getting used to it! I'd just like to hear what others do 🙂 Thank you

I homemade my purees too, I would just keem them in the fridge and take them out with me in a tupperware.

If there was somewhere to heat them I would but otherwise I just fed room temperature.

I have no idea if that's 'correct', I'm just not much of a worrier about that sort of thing.

If I was taking something out in the morning that I needed much later in the day, I would take it out frozen and then it would be thawed by the time I needed it.

I had very small pots that were perfect portion size.

You could always get an insulated lunch bag if you'd prefer to keep things cold?

I just take them out the fridge when I leave the house and put in my bag with a spoon. Often will take it out about 9-10am and feed about 12.30 when out. If it's still cool, my twins refuse to eat it if it is too cold I ask for the restaurant to heat it up. A lot of time restaurants don't like putting it in the microwave as worry about burning baby. But will often give me some hot water to stand the food in instead if needed

I think it's really depends on where you usually go.
We like to hike so being away for most of the day in the middle of nowhere made it impossible to me to bring the homemade puree.
If you go to places for example like restaurants or people's home, you can always ask them to heat it up for you.
