Flying BA when pregnant

Hello all!

Flying for a midweek break in early May. Just a short flight to Europe.

Well within safe flying time. I'll be 24 and a bit weeks on the Monday and bang on 25 weeks on the Friday.

However, not my first kid. And being short, especially in the torso, I looked quite a bit further along at this point with my first child. Do I need to take anything with me to stave off questions/ concerns from flight and checking in crew? Going from Heathrow.

Any advice? Flew in last pregnancy, but was at 16 and 19 weeks.

I flew BA to Dubai at 27 weeks, and got a fit to fly letter just incase I was asked from the midwife. I wasn’t asked once! But felt better knowing I had it just incase. I also told the crew on boarding so they kept coming to me with water and I didn’t have to keep asking :)

Thanks! I think I may do this. Just want as smooth a trip as possible. We were going in the summer holidays, but had to rearrange due to impending arrival. My little boy is very excited to see the Collossium after watching too much Go Jetters.

@EsmeSusanOgg definitely, I think having the letter will make you feel bit more prepared, even if they don’t ask! Sounds like it will be a fab holiday :)
