Hello. I am 29+5 weeks and usually my baby kicks in the morning and afternoon (not much) and then most at night. About 2 hours ago I all of a suddenly felt him move, it then carries on and has only just stopped now. This is unusual for him. I did phone 111 as this was happening but wasn't very helpful and they are getting someone to ring me back. I am just looking for if anyone has been through similar experience with movements and if i should still be little bit concerned as his movements have stopped or should i still ask to be checked?
TIA

Hi OP, sorry just a bit confused by this post, is he moving more than usual? Or is he not moving at all? Xx

Hi OP I had this with both pregnancys and it was totally normal ☺️ I would find at times they became alot more active then others.
I wouldn't worry at this only is you haven't felt them move would I be worried.

the guidance used to be if you haven’t felt them move but over the last few years it has changed so that any change in movement, whether increased or decreased, should be checked out. It’s probably nothing but it’s better to be safe.

Hello All, I had a phone call back and was told to get in touch with the midwives. I did and they took me in for monitoring. Got back about half hour ago, All is okay baby was moving lots while being monitored but baby's head is now facing down so putting that down to why he was moving so much as last week my midwife said he hasn't moved down yet. They said all looks good but any other concerns then do not hesitate to get back in touch. Baby is still up and moving but my mind is reassured. Also @newmummie
it was a sudden increase for about an hour n half/ 2 hours which is so unusual for him and then he had 20 mins no movements when i wrote this post and started again and hasn't stopped since xx
