OPK and whether im ovulating

TTC here
So I am using Clearblue digital Ovulation Tests. We dtd on the evening of the day i got my peak. The 2 days before, I got flashing smileys. Then on the Saturday of that week, I got a solid in the morning, and we did it that afternoon. That was 10 days ago. But I got a BFN today! and I have had mild cramps, but could be AF coming? I just wanted to ask - is my timing way off? I am unclear of when I would have ovulated but thought if i did it on peak day I should have a good chance. now panicking and feeling a bit low!

Hey guys... small update and plea for advice!

So I'm now 17 days since my first peak
My AF is now "late" but 3 days according to my app
Zero af symptoms
Cervix high
Watery discharge

But no af and I did a clear blue early response yesterday and it was negative

What do you think?
We dtd 17 days ago
Is there a chance I ovulated later eg 5 days later!? And I'm 12-13 dpo? I'm so confused!! I don't normally miss periods
Any advice so well received! I just want to get on with trying!

Honestly? I think the stress you’re feeling over this is delaying your cycle. I know it’s really hard but you could be trying for awhile (hopefully not but some take a long time) and I’m a bit worried for you how much this is all getting to you. It is stressful at times ttc but it really seems to be affecting you.

or it may have been that you didn’t properly ovulate this cycle. It happens randomly to a lot of women even if it’s just the once.

I don’t want to sound harsh but I had to have a word with myself more than once and in the end I had the attitude that I was probably in it for the long haul so needed to just let my body do its thing and keep trying. After I calmed down I got pregnant. Probably a coincidence but I would have gone crazy if I carried on stressing.

also sometimes stress can stop you or delay you ovulating so it could have been that you didn’t ovulate after the first surge and you had another surge after you stopped testing and you ovulated then and you’re further behind than you thought.

I’m thinking from your posts it’s stress related.
